The Cessna Citation X or model 750 is a departure from Cessna’s previous family deigns which shared common systems and components. The wing, tail, tail cone, gear, and systems are all fresh new designs and the Citation X also became the first Cessna aircraft to use the Rolls-Royce AE 3007C-1 engines. Twenty years after its unveiling Cessna initiated a major upgrade to the aircraft, named the Citation X+ which included improved AE3007C2 engines, Garmin G5000 flight displays and elliptical winglets which had previously only been an aftermarket option.
